Welcome to Torbay Council's Spatial Planning Consultation Portal
The Strategic Planning Group is responsible for producing planning documents which will guide the future development of Torbay. This will principally include the Council's emerging Local Development Framework (LDF).
This consultation portal provides electronic access to these documents and consultation undertaken on them, as well as to wider consultation, forums and polls being undertaken. It enables the community, stakeholders and interested parties to make comments online. All this information will help shape the documents being produced, enabling the community to be fully involved and engaged in the plan making process.
Torbay Council is consulting on three important documents that will form part of the evidence base of the Core Strategy and other Local Development Framework Documents. This work will contribute to the preparation of future planning policy in the Torbay LDF.
These documents will also become Interim Council Policy, building on the existing Local Plan Policies. They will be used in the determination of Planning Applications until the Core Strategy is Adopted.
While you are not required to register prior to submitting comments on these documents you may still want to register with Limehouse this will enable you view and print out the comments you make and to receive email notification of when the next consultations will begin. To register please click on the 'Register' link within the 'Login' section. Please ensure you provide an email address and once you have registered you will receive an email providing you with a username and password.
